Promoting Professionalism in the Flight Training Environment

I am a certified flight instructor in the La Crosse, WI area interested in helping you successfully accomplish your aviation goals. We can work together to achieve your goals whether it is learning to fly, earning an instrument rating, obtaining a commercial certificate or fulfilling currency or proficiency requirements.

As a CFII and former English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) educator for college and university intensive English programs, I believe in providing you with quality aviation education and stellar customer service. During my flight training, I witnessed my fair share of unprofessional flight instructors. They all seemed to be proficient pilots but lacked educational prowess. As an educator, it was difficult to witness a lack of pedagogy and professionalism being practiced in the flight training environment.  I knew that once I became a CFI, I would do things differently. I believe in being genuinely interested and motivated in my students' flight training and progress as well as continually communicating with my students by keeping them informed of their progress and daily lessons as well as what to expect in upcoming lessons. I believe in practicing patience, being organized, prepared and on time for your lessons. Flight instructing is my profession, and as an educator, it is my responsibility to promote and practice professionalism in flight training.

I am a proud member of the The Ninety-Nines, Inc., Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), and Women in Aviation, International (WAI).

If you are an aircraft owner and are looking for an instructor for a flight review, an IPC or other proficiency training, email or call me and let's work together to get your aviation goals off the ground!
